1. Sidecar
Of course it's a classic

1/2 oz. Cointreau 1/2 tsp. fresh lemon juice 1 oz. brandy 3-4 ice cubes

Combine all ingredients in a shaker and shake vigorously. Strain into a chilled cocktail glass.

2. Papa Doble
It's Hemingway's declarative sentence of cocktails

2 oz. white rum 1 oz. fresh lime juice 1/2 oz. fresh grape fruit juice 1/4 oz. maraschino liqueur 1 1/2 to 2 cups shaved ice

Combine in a blender and frappe until foaming. Serve in a champagne saucer, cocktail glass or large goblet.

3. Absolution

1 part Vodka 5 parts Champagne

If you're seeking absolution, garnish with lemon peel halo wrapped around the top of the glass or floated on the top of the champagne.

4. Bloody Caesar

1 1/4 oz. vodka 2 1/5 oz. Clamato juice Dash Worcestershire Sauce Dash Tabasco sauce Dash salt and pepper

Pour vodka into a glass with ice and fill with clamato juice. Add Worcestershire, Tabasco, and salt and pepper. Garnish with celery stalk or lime wheel.

5. Columbus Cocktail
There's no place like home.

1 1/2 oz. Puerto Rican golden rum 3/4 oz. apricot brandy Juice of 1/2 lime

Mix or blend with crushed ice.

6. Fire fly
Enjoy after the sun goes down, the fire flies come out.

1 1/4 oz. vodka 2 oz. grapefruit juice Dash grenadine

Combine vodka and grapefruit juice in tall glass over ice. Add dash of grenadine.
