Meet Leah Graham

Age: 70

Neighborhood: Clintonville

Family: Husband Steve, two daughters

Her Story

Leah Graham devotes most of her time to taking care of others. After her husband Steve was diagnosed with muscular dystrophy, Leah became his full-time caretaker. The 70-year-old wife, mother and grandmother was nominated by her daughter, Jennifer Schleppi, who thought her mom deserved a day to be pampered. Leah stepped outside of her comfort zone with the makeover, as she's used to being a giver rather than being on the receiving end. "Everyone made me feel accepted and special," Leah says. "It was a learning experience. It let me know you're never too old to learn something, even at 70. The whole thing was great for me."

Hair at J.Bentley

Leah has rarely cut her hair in the past three years, so she was excited for a style that looked healthier yet still had easy maintenance. Hair artist Amber Ready chopped eight inches from Leah's locks, giving her a flexible new cut with texture.

Makeup at Skin Perfect

"We're giving her a nice, natural, radiant glow with a BB cream," says Crystal Argo, cosmetic manager, of Leah's makeup. "We have a little bit of cheek and lip color with a soft eye. It's a natural look for spring."

Facial at Skin Perfect

Master esthetician Jill Pfeifer treated Leah's skin to a rejuvenating facial, which included microcurrent.

Outfit from Saks Fifth Avenue

Lisa Ermine, director of The Fifth Avenue Club, outfitted Leah in an Eileen Fisher dress ($178), an Elie Tahari jacket ($578) and Vince shoes ($375). Accessories include an Alexis Bittar bracelet ($195) and a Stella McCartney clutch ($895).
