Brides-to-be can expect exclusive gowns in an intimate, laid-back setting
The ladies of B.Loved Bridal Boutique-set to open the first week of February on Gay Street in Downtown-want Columbus to be a bridal town. The way sisters Lesley and Jenny Bartosek see it, there's no reason for us not to be. And they're kind enough to help the cause by bringing a new element of exclusivity to the region.
"Many of the designers we'll carry can't be found outside of larger cities like New York or Chicago," Lesley says. Here are three things you need to know about soon-to-open B.Loved.It's all about quality. "Our hope was to find gowns and accessories that are incredibly high quality without the price tag," Jenny says. Expect high-end, fashion-forward dresses for less than $5,000 and luxe accessories for less than $400. Accessibility is part of the business plan. "These are really well made products that are designed incredibly well, available in a comfortable environment," Jenny says. "Gown shopping should be a really fun experience." And one that's transparent, Lesley adds. "We're not trying to keep anything-prices and so on-from the customer." Expertise helps. Lesley's background is in event planning, so she understood the ins and outs of planning a big day long before deciding to open a bridal shop. And the pair isn't afraid to give real-talk. "I think it's fair to say we're pretty laid-back about all this," Lesley says. "If something isn't working for you, we'll find you a gown that does."
