Amy and Danny Mareco may be a Columbus couple, but North Carolina hold a lot of meaning for the two of them. It's where they met-Danny drove down to see a show his friend was in, which Amy was in as well-and where Danny proposed.
"Dan took me to Asheville, North Carolina, to celebrate two years together and proposed there on the porch of the house we rented," Amy says. "Once we went inside, a group of our closest friends and family jumped out of one of the guest rooms. I dropped to my knees crying because I was so happy. There's photo evidence of that!"
Amy also walked down the aisle to a song that Danny wrote about her on the drive home from that fateful North Carolina trip where they met.
But their wedding was full of nods to their Ohio roots, as well. The newlyweds served beer that had been brewed during Danny's bachelor party at North High Brewing, as well as ice cream from a favorite shop in Sandusky.
