89 Fish & Grill will close to make way for the Cincinnati-based steakhouse.
Jeff Ruby's Steakhouse, the Cincinnati-based fine dining steakhouse, is set to open its first Columbus location at 89 East Nationwide Blvd.
Ruby is partnering with Columbus attorney and developer Philip J. Fulton to renovate the historic Fulton Law Building into a destination steakhouse.
89 Fish & Grill, which currently resides in the 100-year-old former warehouse, will close to accommodate the steakhouse.
"This will be a perfect home for Columbus's own Jeff Ruby's Steakhouse," Fulton said in a press release. "The space is beautiful and will provide the perfect backdrop for the incredible fine dining experience on which Jeff Ruby has built a world-class reputation. I'm excited for what this will do for our city."
Jeff Ruby has steakhouses in Cincinnati and Louisville, with one in the works inNashville.
An opening date for the Columbus location has yet to be announced.
