An at-capacity crowd celebrated on July 16 at the Aladdin Shrine Center with award-winning local authors Marala Scott and Tré Parker. HEAL, presented by Seraph Books, raised more than $100,000 to support the prevention of domestic violence and child abuse, the subject of Scott and Parker's memoir, In Our House, Perception vs. Reality. The night included dinner and a presentation by the authors. Tickets were $100; tables were $10,000. (Photos and IDs courtesy Seraph Books.)
