In just one week, there has been rain, sleet, snow, ice, almost 50 degree temperatures and 50 to 60 mile per hour winds. There's nothing quite like the climate of Central Ohio.

I hope all of you have survived the elements and are enjoying the holiday season. Experiencing a hearty meal is certainly a great way to stay warm during these cold months, so please let me know if you try a great dish at a restaurant around town. Now, for some news: Black Creek Bistro has a holiday group menu available at the restaurant and for catering. There are three options, priced at $20, $30 and $40 per person. "We've seen a trend of people really enjoying these prix fixed menus. This special menu is available until the end of January. Eddie Merlot's has a special holiday lunch menu through Dec. 24. The lunch hours are 11 am to 2 pm Monday through Friday.
