Temperatures topped 100 degrees on the evening high school sweethearts Lauren and Stuart exchanged vows. "It was a Friday night wedding outdoors in July," says the bride. "We planned a year in advance and were excited to be outside for the ceremony. Little did we know at 6 p.m. it would be 102 degrees out. All we remember is trying not to fall over or sweat too bad." The hot weather was complemented by the wedding's warm color scheme of bright pink, green and orange. Lauren, her bridesmaids and family members spent hours folding, cutting and puffing many handmade tissue paper balls in the wedding colors. "They ended up being the perfect touch down the aisle and above the altar," she says. A honeymoon to Punta Cana, Dominican Republic, followed.
