Towering ceilings, Asian hanging lanterns, and lots and lots of green. If you've had sushi at Edamame Sushi & Grill near Easton, you've no doubt appreciated the chic, minimalist design aesthetic. Bass Studio Architects, the firm behind Edamame's distinctive look, is up for an award from the American Institute of Architects Los Angeles chapter.
The Columbus restaurant, owned by the team behind Asian Gourmet in Gahanna, is one of seven nominated for a Restaurant Design Award by a panel of AIA jurors. The jurors will announce their winner at the Restaurant Design Awards ceremony at the AIA Los Angeles Design Conference on June 24.
In the meantime, we can vote for Edamame online in the People's Choice Awards. Voting is open through noon on Monday, June 20. Click here to vote!
