The folks at the Hills Market grill up 1,000 pounds of salmon every Memorial Day weekend in the parking lot, and then make it into great little salmon sandwiches served with coleslaw and cookies. There's also plenty of cold beer and a live steel drum band! 11:30 a.m.-3:30 p.m. Saturday.

Bonus! Swing by at 2:30 p.m. Saturday to watch me go head to head with 10TV's new anchor Kristyn Hartman and others in a Celebrity Ice Cream Eating Contest! Fun times.
