Bodega unveiled a new menu of gastropub fare last night. As someone who is a regular at Sunday-night TeamTim trivia at Bodega, I am pretty stoked to start working my way through a whole list of new dishes. And the rest of you should be excited too--Bodega's chef Marcus Meacham, who we named a Crave Tastemaker last year, makes some impressive and creative food. Here's a peek at the new menu (I'm most excited that the lobster roll often spotted on special menus is joining the rotation full-time!):

STARTERS

Hummous, $8: Red pepper hummous with veggies and pita.

Pretzel (by Brezel), $6: Served with Watershed Bourbon Butter dip, Queso dip or Dijon dip.

Fries, $3: Garlic fries with a side of spicy tomato aioli.

Mac 'n' Cheese, $7: Local cheese, herbs, panko bread crumb topping. Add bacon for $2; addtomato or jalapeno for $1.

Spinach, Arugula and Roasted Artichoke Dip, $9: Served with a side of pita.

Chicken Wings, $10: Pork or chicken wings with choice of fiery pomegranate sauce, spicy jerk sauce, Dogfish Head 90 minute mango barbecue or honey bourbon; served with grilled pineapple and celery garnish.

SALADS

Unsimple Greens, $8: Romaine and arugula topped with green beans, pistachios, green grapes, green onions and parsley with herb vinaigrette.

Chef's Salad, $8: A collection of local, seasonal and imaginative ingredients that suit the chef's fancy.

Add grilled hanger steak for $5 or shrimp for $3

GASTRO PUBWICHES

Bombay Burger, $10: Niman Ranch burger with roasted red peppers, jalapenos, sharp white cheddar, red onions and cilantro.

Bacon Swiss Burger, $11: Niman Ranch burger with bacon, rye onions and double Swiss.

Hawaiian Burger, $12: Niman Ranch burger with spicy Spam, charred pineapple and provolone.

Turkey, $10: Turkey with candied bacon, avocado cream, tomatoes and mixed greens on an Eleni Christina butter brioche bun.

Grilled cheese, $6: Ohio white cheddar, Swiss and provolone on sourdough. Add bacon for $2; tomato for $1.

Shrimp Po'boy, $9: Grilled shrimp, jicama slaw, and remoulade on an Eleni Christina butter brioche bun.

Smoked Lobster Roll, $14: House smoked lobster with vanilla butter on an Eleni Christina hoagie roll

The Other Philly, $10: Braised pork shoulder, white cheddar and mustard greens on an Eleni Christina hoagie roll served with a side of pork jus

Muffaletta, $10: Pepperoni, mortadella, provolone, tomato and Creole relish pressed inside an Eleni Christina hoagie roll

ENTREES

Hanger Steak, $15: Seasoned, grilled hanger steak with chipotle butter, crushed fries and onion straws.

Thai Tofu and Quinoa, $12: Tofu marinated in house-made nut butter then roasted, served on quinoa pilaf with carrot salad, red romesco and rioja

Short North Mussels and Fries, $12: Fresh Duxbury mussels and bacon in a bleu cheese sauce; served with garlic fries. Can be ordered classic Belgian style as well.

Shrimp 'n' Grits, $12: Creamy cheddar grits, grilled shrimp, smoked bacon, crispy shallots and roma tomatoes
