Enter the Gallerie Monthly Supper Club.

On the second Thursday of every month through December, Glover is inviting local and regional chefs into his 5,000-square-foot kitchen inside the Downtown Hilton hotel for themed, collaborative dinners, showcasing the best in Ohio food, spirits, wine and beer. For the series’ second installment on Aug. 14, Marcus Meacham of Kraft House No. 5 and Seth Lassak of Wolf’s Ridge Brewing will prepare a multi-course dinner, with beer pairings from Wolf’s Ridge, North High Brewing and Seventh Son Brewing Co.

The series wraps up Dec. 11 with the second-annual James Beard Foundation Celebrity Chef Tour dinner—an event Glover and Cleveland chef Jonathon Sawyer hosted at Gallerie last year. In addition to Glover and Sawyer, Kevin Sousa of Pittsburgh’s Salt of the Earth and Garrett Lipar of Detroit’s Torino have also been confirmed.

All dinners, save for a hands-on event Nov. 13 (held in the Gallerie kitchen), are limited to 50 diners. Tickets will be around $75 per event.

“This, to me, is a huge part of what is really important in our [dining] scene—bringing awareness to people,” Glover says. “It’s an amazing thing to have the chance to invite these folks to the hotel to do this kind of thing.”
