Want Hot Chicken Takeover to pop up in your neighborhood? Here's your chance. The popular concept is soliciting votes for a summer-long Neighborhood Tour that will take its food truck back to Olde Towne East and up to three other neighborhoods or 'burbs.

Update: On May 13, Hot Chicken Takeover announced it will be popping up in Clintonville, Gahanna and Olde Towne East this summer. Other potential locations include: Bexley, Westgate, Westerville/Lewis Center, Merion Village/German Village and Grandview/Upper Arlington. Head fryer Joe DeLoss says more updates will follow on HCT's Facebook, Twitter and Instagram accounts.

Calling all hot chicken fans: Want Hot Chicken Takeover to pop up in your neighborhood? Here's your chance. The popular concept, now at the North Market and Mapfre Stadium, is soliciting votes for a summer-long Neighborhood Tour that will take its food truck back to Olde Towne East and up to three other neighborhoods or 'burbs. Anywhere from German Village to Lewis Center is fair game, so place your vote here before the poll closes May 8.

The pop-ups will be held every Tuesday and Wednesday from around 4:30 to 9 p.m., says head fryer Joe DeLoss. "The setup will be very similar to our old setup in Olde Towne East," he says. "It's not just having a food truck on the curb but a real restaurant experience with our staple red tents, communal tables, bottomless sweet tea-that same experience we offer as a restaurant but doing it in more of a destination."

Additionally, HCT is looking to partner with local organizations, specific to each pop-up location, whom it can support through the tour ("We want to help and put what proceeds we can to the people who support these communities," DeLoss says). HCT is also taking suggestions for open public spaces in each neighborhood where its truck can set up shop. You can offer your two cents at the end of the online poll.

The summer tour is about more than pop-ups, though, DeLoss says; it's about "testing the pulse" for a potential brick and mortar. "We want to keep our business growing, and part of that is finding potential homes and neighborhoods that make a good fit for Hot Chicken so that we can continue extending our reach and expanding the Hot Chicken community."

The official summer schedule will be announced by June 1 on HCT's website.
