At the ninth annual benefit for the Short North Arts District, some of the neighborhood's best chefs, bartenders and confectioners crafted edible works of art inspired by artwork on display in nearby galleries. The result was almost too beautiful to eat, and made for festive entertainment alongside live performances from the New Orleans Dixieland band, the Good Time Charley's and Jazz Arts Group regulars the Brett Burleson Duo. The evening honored the artistry and diversity of the longstanding arts district, as well as those who keep its spirit alive.
