If you're visiting Goodale Park this weekend for ComFest, expect more vegan and organic foods than ever before. Festival organizers made a point to focus on local vendors this year, says longtime organizer Connie Everett, ensuring there is no shortage of clean, natural foods. Here are five vendors that any Birkenstock-loving festival-goer shouldn't miss.

Love Bug Food Truck

Vegans will enjoy black bean, corn and saffron rice tacos, but the main attraction at Love Bug is the beef brisket, which makes its festival debut Friday and Saturday only, by special request from ComFest organizers. The brisket will be smoked for approximately 16 hours at Love Bug's stand in Peace Village.

Red Lotus Foods

Making their debut at ComFest, Cleveland-based Red Lotus will offer tastes of their vegan and gluten-free spreads, including aCreamy Cashew Spread, Sour & Creamy Topping and Sweet Cashew Creme.Everett says she's excited to see the debut of a business so dedicated to vegan fare. Their stand will also be located in Peace Village.

Earth's Crust Pizza & The Krazy Monkey JuiceBar

This local food truck and mobile juice bar will serve up whole-grain organic pizzas and fresh-pressed juices, but Everett is most excited about their vegan milkshakes. "It is a great opportunity for people with kids to buy something that is healthy and delicious," she says. The truck will be located at the Bozo Eats area.

Whole World Natural Bakery and Restaurant

This local favorite is best known for its broccoli burgers and black bean roll-ups. Whole World's meatless burgers have become somewhat famous, Everett says, because of the curiosity they spark, so be sure get one early before they sell out. Whole World will be set up at Central Park Street.

Pattycake Bakery

This Clintonville bakery crafts vegan goods with 100 percent natural ingredients, making Pattycake an ideal fit for ComFest. During the festival, they will be located at Bozo Eats, where customers can pick up the bakery's popular cutout cookies, gluten-free chocolate chip cookies and cherry bars.
