If you've been waiting for an excuse to sample some of the city's best curbside eats, now is your chance. The annual Columbus Food Truck and Cart Fest runs Friday, Aug. 15 through Sunday, Aug. 17, at the Columbus Commons. We've got details on new trucks to try and how to beat the lines.

It's no secret Zauber Brewing and Explorers Club food truck have been sweet on each other for some time. The Latin-leaning truck (an extension of the now-shuttered Merion Village restaurant) has been the Grandview brewery's featured mobile food vendor months. Now, the two are making the relationship official: at the start of September, Explorers Club will move into the Zauber kitchen.

Columbus could be getting its first dedicated poke restaurant by way of Hai Poke. The start-up will feel out diners through a four-week pop-up at Oddfellows Liquor Bar in the Short North. The first round of tuna bowls will be served up this Friday, Aug. 14.

Who doesn't love a farm dinner, especially if it's prepared by a certified master chef? Slow Food Columbus hosts its annual Shake The Hand That Feeds You Dinner this Saturday, Aug. 15, at Folsom & Pine Farm. Chef Alfonso Contrisciani, one of only 68 CMC's in the country and the former chef at Plate in New Albany, will prepare the three-course dinner. Tickets are available here.
