Beer of the Month: Ill Mannered Brewing

Ill Manna Slamma

Style: Blonde Ale

ABV: 4.8%

Just because the weather has turned toward fall doesn’t mean beer drinkers should shrug off summery fare. Ill Mannered Brewing’s Ill Manna Slamma blonde ale is light-bodied, pouring clear and golden. The easy-drinking ale, available on draft in the Powell brewery’s new taproom, leans into the sweeter aspects of the malts. A light, citrusy touch from Centennial hops provides balance. It’s the ideal beer for enjoying autumn weather on a patio or while watching your favorite team. —Nicholas Dekker
