Brassica is set to open on Friday in Upper Arlington at 1442 W. Lane Ave. It will be the third location of the fast-casual Mediterranean spot. Brassica is the sister restaurant of Northstar Cafe and Third & Hollywood, founded by Kevin and Katy Malhame along with Kevin’s brother, Darren.
The owner of George’s Beechwold Diner plans to open George’s Linworth Diner at 2245 W. Dublin-Granville Road on the corner of Linworth Road and Route 161. An opening date has not yet been announced.
Fans of Bangkok Grocery & Restaurant will rejoice next week when the restaurant reopens on Tuesday, Jan. 22, following its annual winter break. The family-run Thai eatery is located at 3277 Refugee Road.
Forty’s Chicken & Waffles announced an opening date of Friday, Jan. 25, at 2593 N. High St. next to Old North Arcade. Benjamin Morgan, who owns both Old North businesses, launched Forty’s as a food truck in 2017. Morgan describes Forty’s fare as "ultimate late-night munchies comfort food." The menu features items such as a fried chicken doughnut sandwich, waffle tacos and, yes, 40-ounce bottles of Olde English to wash it down.
Aangan Indian Bistro, serving Northern Indian fare, is coming to 7520 High Cross Blvd. in the Crosswoods area.
Florida-based chain Miller’s Ale House is adding a second Central Ohio location, according to a sign posted on the building at 3884 Morse Rd., just north of Easton. An opening date for the sports pub has not yet been announced.
The restaurant company Good Food Restaurants plans to open its eighth location of the Beer Barrel Pizza & Grill. The new 10,400-square-foot restaurant will open in the Jerome Township's new Dublin Green Shopping Center. This will be the third Beer Barrel location in Central Ohio, joining Hilliard and Easton.
