The owners of Pat & Gracie’s are planning to open a new concept called P and G Wood-Fired Kitchen at 525 Short St., the former CBC Restaurant space in the Brewery District. The new restaurant from Matt Rootes and Tony Wildman will offer a lunch menu that’s similar to Pat & Gracie's with burgers, salads and sandwiches. “[The] dinner menu will be more entrée-centric, featuring steaks, [barbecued] ribs, chicken, fish and pork items with some sandwiches,” Rootes said in an email. Rootes and Wildman are targeting a June opening. Restaurateurs Doug Griggs and Mike Campbell (Milestone 229) closed CBC Restaurant permanently last year after planning to rebrand and reopen a concept called Oxbow on Short. The location had been a restaurant since 1997. Commonhouse Ales, owned by longtime Columbus brewer Lenny Kolada, operates the brewery space that shares the building.

This week, Angela Petro’s catering company, Two Caterers, officially rebranded as Together & Company. “When I co-founded our company 22 years ago, it consisted of two people, hence the name Two Caterers. Together & Company operates out of High Line Car House and will add a new venue, The Fives at The Reach at Goodale, in spring 2020.
