Each week, we feature a couple from our latest issue.
For this week’s married duo, we think you’d be hard pressed to find a couple that better deserves the title “lovebirds.”
On the night Danielle proposed to Ashlynn—a story you might recall from our last issue’s proposal feature, also available here— the pair snuck into the bald eagle exhibit during Wildlights at the Columbus Zoo and Aquarium. Then, nearly two years later at their wedding, the Maludys capped their ceremony with a dove release to symbolize their eternal love.
While the doves at first needed “a little encouragement,” as Danielle recalls—who could blame them for wanting to stay and celebrate with the newlyweds?—they eventually took wing as intended. Happy belated anniversary, Ashlynn and Danielle … we hope your love continues to soar to new heights.
