Eight of our current favorite items on Etsy—all from Columbus vendors.
Etsy is a go-to resource for many couples planning their weddings. But did you know that you can shop handmade and local? Check out our top Etsy picks for this month, all from shop owners based right here in Columbus.
Let’s start with some bling, shall we? For that we head to the trusty ScotchStreetVintage, which always has swoon-worthy jewels. This month, we chose an engagement ring featuring a 5+ carat, teardrop-cut aquamarine surrounded by a 40-diamond halo (0.24 ctw) and set in 14k yellow gold. As the listing says, it’s great “for the girl that doesn’t want what everyone else has.” Priced at $1,800, it’s an economic al alternative to a giant diamond.
Much ado is made about bridesmaid proposals, but asking your bros to be by your side on your wedding day is important, too! Enter: These foiled gift tags from aLITTLEsmallTALK. Perfectly sized to accompany a mini-bottle of your dude’s favorite libation (not included, sadly), it’s a fun take on a traditionally female-centered idea. The tags start at $3.90 each, with price breaks for ordering larger quantities.
It wouldn’t be an Etsy Eight post without a cute accessory, like this hairpiece from RosyroseStudio. The silver, pearl and rhinestone piece features some black tinting on the leaves for a vintage effect, and the wire is malleable so you can arrange the elements to suit your hairstyle. It’s listed at $24 and there’s only one of them left, so if you like it … click over now!
We’re having a bit of a watercolor obsession at the moment, and this digital download invite suite definitely satisfies it. BluebellGraphics includes three pieces—the invite, RSVP card and details card—in the suite, which you can download for $30 and print at your convenience. Not a fan of the royal blue? It’s also available in wine, aqua and forest green.
We usually don’t include two invites in our posts, but this laser-cut pocket invitation suite from unicaforma was too cool to pass up. The $20 list price is a deposit for your order; you have to contact the shop to get a specific quote based on your needs.
Welcome signs are super popular right now, and we love this floral one from InkandVeil. Just $12 will get you a custom digital download in virtually any size, which you can print at home or your favorite print shop. (Bonus: InkandVeil sells a matching seating chart sign that starts at $20.)
Need a perfectly boho décor element to hang behind your altar or head table? Look no further than this green and gold wreath from AbigailReederDesigns. The handmade piece is just $34.99 and would look great hanging on a door or wall for Christmases to come after the wedding, too!
Wrapping up today are these sweet treats from SparklingSweetsShop. You get 12 mini doughnuts with champagne, cream and blush icing for $20—perfect for a late-night bite or an edible guest favor. Not a fan of the colors? Just ask for a substitute and the shop owner will oblige. They come individually wrapped and tied with a ribbon. The worst thing about these sweets? You can’t eat them all yourself.
That's it for this edition of the Etsy Eight. Check back next month for more from our favorite Columbus shops!
