The Estate at New Albany makes a splash by showcasing its versatile venue.
If you follow our Instagram, you might have seen photos from our private dinner with David Tutera at The Estate at New Albany last weekend. During the dinner—which included a fabulous surf-and-turf menu and wonderful conversation with Mr. Tutera—we had the chance to chat with The Estate’s director, Kristen Pulcheon, about all the venue has to offer. When she mentioned the styled shoot The Estate recently hosted, we knew we had to feature it here.
“As a new build venue, it was important that we get real images out to our potential customers as quickly as possible, so I knew we had to do a photo shoot,” Pulcheon explains. “While planning the details of the shoot, my team and I realized we wanted to show off the space to more than one photographer, so the multi-photographer styled shoot was born!”
Pulcheon’s shoot featured two couples and 18 fabulous local photographers, as well as a number of other vendors. While we can’t highlight all 18 (very talented) photographers, we did want to share with you a few from our favorites: Kimberly Potterf Photography, Derk’s Works Photography and Red Gallery Photography.
“Hiring your photographer is such a personal choice, so it was crucial we have different styles and points of view featured,” Pulcheon adds. “We want our couples to know that The Estate at New Albany is full of natural light, pretty neutrals and small details that make a big impression.”
Although The Estate at New Albany is newly opened, the staff are anything but inexperienced, Pulcheon says. The venue is owned by the Brooks family—which also owns WatersEdge in Hilliard and Brookshire in Delaware—so everyone from the waitstaff to the chef are already pros. And the venue has an added bonus: Your caterer, flowers, DJ and cake all are included with your rental, making planning a breeze.
