What are you happy you spent money on?
We are so happy we spent money on an amazing photographer. Hillary Ferguson captured the most amazing moments of our day and we couldn't be happier with our photos! We are also so happy with our DJ experience. Matt Ryan had everyone on the dance floor all evening and was worth every penny!
What do you think you could have done without in your wedding?
I don't know that we would’ve done without anything. ‘Im not sure how many people drank coffee from the coffee station (as everyone was having a great time dancing), but I do know the few people who did have coffee really enjoyed it!
What was your biggest surprise when planning your wedding?
I knew that planning a wedding would be a lot of work and require intense planning and organization, but I never realized how much detail actually goes into the day (literally minute by minute). I don't know that there's anything specific I wish I would have known, but my advice is to let people help you.
Do you have any general marriage advice, as a newlywed?
Marriage is a blast! That being said, look into your insurance policy, name change documents, etc. and get your marriage license ASAP. A lot of insurance changes only allow 30 days from a life event and if you go on a honeymoon, 30 days creeps up quickly! It's a lot to think about when you’re planning the wedding, but will make life so much easier as you transition into married life.
