Each week, we feature a couple from our latest issue.
When it came time for high-school sweethearts Amanda and Nego Jovanovich to plan their wedding, “simple” was the name of the game. Nothing could perhaps fulfil that request better than their event space, Dock 580. While the space itself is far from understated, nothing says “easy” quite like a location that can host the ceremony and reception, as well handle catering and event planning itself. Amanda also took the goal of simplicity to heart with her wedding shoes: a pair of Converse with pearls and lace added.
One thing the Jovanoviches didn’t keep simple, though: dessert! On top of the s’mores-flavored bridal party cake, they served guests cookies, lemon squares, cannoli, macarons and cupcakes. (Drool!)
