Each week, we feature a couple from our latest issue.
For Elinor and Alexander O’Neal, who celebrated their second anniversary Monday, it was a steady trot to love.
The pair share an equestrian passion and, as a result, met while riding as teenagers. It was between saddle and stirrup, too, that the pair finally got engaged many years later.
This history made it easy to settle on a theme for their wedding. They put their shared love of horses on display by holding the ceremony and reception at the Johnstown equestrian facility from Elinor’s childhood. The theme was also present in seating cards, which took the form of prize ribbons. However, we think Elinor and Alexander won the real prize when they found each other.
