The Waynedale High School class of 1968 celebrated its 50-year reunion Oct. 5-6. The two-day celebration included a Friday night Meet & Greet prior to Waynedale’s 2018 Homecoming football game. Class members supported a barbecue chicken fundraiser held that same night by the Waynedale Girls Basketball Boosters. A golf outing was held Saturday along with a dinner that evening, both at The Pines Golf Club and Restaurant near Orrville.

Forty-two classmates attended the events along with 24 spouses. Classmates came from 10 states as well as from across Ohio. Out of state classmates travelled from Montana, Colorado, Michigan, Indiana, West Virginia, Pennsylvania, North Carolina, Kentucky, Nebraska and Iowa. One classmate, Jack Davis, travelled from Greece where he teaches part of the year.

Special guests Ron and Kathy Dobson, Terry Caldwell and Ramona Davis joined the class for dinner Saturday night.
