Each week, we feature a couple from our latest issue.
Kimberly and Patrick Dwyer made sure everyone had a midnight kiss to ring in 2018; they handed out Hershey’s kisses as guest favors at their New Year’s Eve-themed wedding last December. After the ball dropped, everyone noshed on pizza as a midnight snack. Another cool touch: instead of the now-common photo booth, the Dwyers set up a selfie station for guests to snap shots.
The couple tied the knot nearly eight years after being introduced by mutual friends. The wedding party—including a “dog of honor”—was accompanied down the aisle by songs significant to the bride and groom, played by pianist Kevin Gault, which the couple remembers as being one of the most special moments from their wedding day.
