A lovely mini-shoot featuring new and well-known vendors alike.

When Katie Grace Kissel first contacted us to talk about The Bride Babe, we were instantly intrigued. A bridal salon that comes to you? Yes, please! Then Kissel mentioned a recent photo shoot she styled to showcase some of her shops pieces, and we were sure we wanted to feature it.

“As my business is just beginning, I wanted a photo shoot that reflected my own life and personal style. I wanted each and every detail to have a special meaning, and I am so happy that photographer Allison Hopkins was able to capture that,” Kissel says. “From shooting on my family’s land to crafting the evergreen details myself, I think the shoot truly captured the essence of The Bride Babe.”

Other personal details in the shoot include the table, handmade by Kissel’s husband, and Kissel’s family heirloom glassware and silverware.

The Bride Babe is an exclusive retailer of the Build-A-Bride collection by Heidi Elnora, Kissel explains. The brand features custom-made wedding gowns and sets itself apart by doing all of its appointments in clients’ homes, rather than in a storefront, creating what Kissel calls a “truly luxurious, fun and comfortable experience.”
