A fall style shoot that translates wonderfully into winter
Gabriella Sutherland Photography is back again with a styled shoot that focuses on all things fall—though it certainly works just as well with the winter weather of late in mind. Unlike the last Gabriella Sutherland styled shoot we featured, this one is all about that rustic charm.
“I knew I wanted my next styled shoot to be in a barn, with a rustic feel to help tie together the rustic table setting, cozy sweaters, blankets and s’mores, and Harvest Hills Farm fit perfectly,” Sutherland says. The setting came with a bonus, too: friendly farm cats. The cute little gray one you’ll see in the photos above was especially interested in the models, Sutherland says, and the feeling was mutual. In fact, models (and real-life couple) Brandon and Miranda Hoyt, were so taken with him that they ended up adopting him!
“My very favorite setup from this shoot, aside from the horses, was probably the table setting with the cardigans for the guests to stay warm and cozy,” Sutherland adds. “I also loved how the blanket setup turned out … I think it’s a great idea that brides on a budget could incorporate into their wedding to give a nice, simple, elegant touch!”
