Each week, we feature a couple from our latest issue.

In February 2014, Eliza Phillians (now Eliza Lee) and Justin Lee didn’t want to go to the bar, but their friends pulled them out much later than normal, Eliza recalls. And it’s a good thing they did—after dancing for a bit, they exchanged numbers and met at the same bar a few times, “until Justin finally asked to take me out on a proper date,” Eliza says.

After dating for four years, Justin planned a surprise graduation party for Eliza, which turned into an engagement party when Justin popped the question. On their big day, Eliza returned the favor by surprising Justin with a horse-drawn carriage entrance. The horse, a former Budweiser  Clydesdale, and carriage both were owned by friends of Justin’s family, adding a personal layer to the dramatic entrance.
