Highlighting couples' favorite images from their wedding days
Sometimes a couple’s favorite wedding photos are sweet and sentimental; sometimes they’re silly and simple. And sometimes—perhaps the best times—they can be all of the above.
“There's a semi-close-up photo where my husband and I are outside during the photo shoot at the Dublin Arts Museum. He's looking down at me with a straight face and I'm looking up at him smiling,” says Jaime Scott. “He had just made me laugh even though it was 90 degrees out, we were sweating and he hates having his picture taken. You can tell it's not planned. It's such a natural shot with raw emotion on my face. His sense of humor and ability to make me laugh while somehow keeping a straight face himself is just one of the many little things I love about him.”
Adorable, right? Jaime and David wed on July 1, 2017, in the midst of a heat wave and a power outage at their ceremony site. Candles lining the aisles solved the lighting issue, Jaime says, but we doubt they did much to help with the temperature inside the church.
As for David, the choice for top photo was modest but no less delightful. His pick, of him and Jaime eating their wedding cake, is such because “it was a funny moment I’ll never forget,” he says.
