Each week, we feature a couple from our latest issue.
Jaime and Chance Weber like to do things their own way, and we think that’s fabulous. The pair met over arcade games at a friend’s gathering at 16 Bit Bar + Arcade in Downtown Columbus and began dating shortly after. Chance popped the question while on a trip to the West Coast.
“It was a very romantic proposal [on the beach] under the pier in La Jolla, California,” Jaime recalls.
For the big day a year later, the pair chose “The Big Lebowski” as their wedding theme and paid homage to their shared love of suds, serving up beers from their home states of Wisconsin and Pennsylvania and handing out customized bottle openers as favors to guests.
“The entire day was perfect,” Jaime says. “The most memorable part was our first look!”
