Each week, we feature a real, local wedding.
With a band called “Naked Karate Girls” supplying the tunes at your reception, you’re sure to have a party worth remembering. Such is the case for Jennifer and William Garner’s party last August. “The Naked Karate Girls were amazing!” recalls Jennifer. “They had everyone on the dance floor—and many on stage—the whole night.”
The night was memorable for a number of other reasons, she adds, including the personal details she and William incorporated. Their cocktail napkins featured an image of Knox, their beloved dog, and guests took home favors that honored the couple’s alma maters of OSU and University of Tennessee.
The pair have been together since March 2016, when a minor miscommunication found Jennifer at the Local Cantina in Clintonville and William at the German Village location. “I didn’t realize there were two Local Cantinas on High Street,” Jennifer says. “Will waited almost an hour for me to show up, and the rest is history.”
