Top things to do in Columbus for June 21-23

Blystone Farm’s Beards and Brews, Saturday, June 22

Head to the Canal Winchester countryside this weekend for this festival of facial hair and frothy beer. The rain-or-shine event, hosted by The Barn at Blystone Farm (8677 Oregon Road), features a variety of craft breweries, food, live music on the farm, raffle prizes and contests for best moustache, longest beard and best full beard. The event kicks off at 6:30 p.m. and runs until midnight.

Exotics on Scioto Mile, Saturday, June 22

Check out some of the world’s most impressive supercars parked along the Rich Street Bridge near Milestone 229 at this free annual event. The show will feature more than 100 exotics, including a Porsche 911 RWB, a 2019 McLaren 570S Spider, a 2014 Ferrari F12 Berlinetta and auto dealer Rick Ricart’s 2006 Ford GT styled by car designer Chip Foose.

A House Divided: Civil War Reenactment, Saturday, June 22-Sunday, June 23

Head out to Ohio Village for a weekend of immersive history with A House Divided: Civil War Reenactment. In addition to a battle reenactment and artillery demonstrations, guests can expect games, music and dancing at the period-accurate village, meant to give a look into civilian life in the 1860s. Admission is affordable at $15 for adults, $13 for seniors and $9 for kids.

Outlaw Fest, Sunday, June 23

Columbus will miss out on some of the most interesting performers (Robert Plant, Steve Earle, Nathaniel Rateliff & The Night Sweats) slated for other Outlaw Fest stops this year, but it's still worth catching the show just to see headliner Willie Nelson, who turned 86 in April. The country music legend and budding potrepreneur says his well-documented marijuana devotion has kept him young and on tour at such an advanced age, but it's hard not to wonder if Columbus will get many more chances to see Willie on the road again.
