Going 20 years strong, Taste the Future always brings together the city's best culinary offerings, but this year's event was especially sweet - it gave those still without power a chance to briefly forget about the aftermath of Ike and finally enjoy some decent food.

Taste the Future marked its two-decade anniversary by bringing more than 50 restaurants, hotels and caterers together on the Columbus State Community College campus for what Andy Campbell called, "By far the most fun event year after year."

"A night like tonight, it's gorgeous!" exclaimed the Burgundy Room's Andrew Brannin. "It's nice, it's casual, it's kind of the last hurrah of summer with all the chefs together."
