How did you get into bartending?

I always looked up to bartenders. I love their energy, their passion and how much fun they have on the job. So when I was working as a server, I asked if I could stay behind and learn off the clock, just to get some training. The next day they asked me to stay permanently behind the bar.

I started in Kansas City. I went to KU - rock, chalk, Jayhawk! It was called the Saddle Ranch, a really fun bull-riding kind of Coyote Ugly place.

What is OSU gameday like here at Eddie George's?

Insane! I love the rush of the fans - they're all super fun. It's for people who want to have a good time while watching a great game. This is the place to watch sports.

So, have you become a Buckeye fan?

Absolutely. Kansas is my first love, but I can have a little affair with OSU.

What would you be doing if you weren't bartending?

I've always wanted to travel the world. I want to work for the Travel Channel with my own show. Just bartend all over the world - that's definitely in my future. That's another reason I got into bartending, because you don't have to stay in one spot.

I've bartended in Kansas, Missouri and Colorado at a ski resort. I literally packed my bags one day and left to go to Colorado just because I could. It was on my bucket list to bartend at a ski resort and learn to ski. Then, I packed my bags and moved here. Who knows where's next?

Where have your travels taken you?

I've been all over the world. I've been to the Middle East twice, Asia a couple of times - Thailand, Hong Kong, Vietnam. I've been all over Mexico and South America. My next trip is hopefully to Africa. I don't know if they'll have a bartending gig in the Sahara, but I hope so.

If you could have a drink with any person, living or dead, who would it be?

Marilyn Monroe. I think she would be the perfect wing-woman. We would definitely paint this town.
