Words, and the associations they bring, are the focus of the newest exhibit at the Ohio Arts Council's Riffe Gallery. Through various mediums, each artist explores how the meaning of words can be transformed by context - current events, technology or even socioeconomic status and race. Curated by Liz Maugans, "The I of Text" includes works by artists from across Ohio, tackling everything from relationships and love to the environment and national policies. An opening reception begins at 5 tonight at the Vern Riffe Center. Or, for a more in-depth look at the exhibit, check out a tour led by Maugans at noon Friday.
