Czech scenographer Petr Matásek and Ohio State University Lima theater professor Joe Brandesky co-conceived this fantasy play about the life and work of literature’s most endearing creep, Edgar Allan Poe.

Works including “Annabel Lee,” “The Bells,” “The Tell-Tale Heart” and “The Masque of the Red Death” are brought to life (or afterlife) by music, movement and — be still your sick, sick heart — puppets.
