Art preview: "African Rhythms in Paint, Act 2" look like they could leap off the wall

Jackie Mantey, Columbus Alive

There's a reason Otterbein theater teacher and painter Suzanne Accetta's jubilant depictions of African dancers and performers look like they could leap right off the wall. She painted many of them in real time, while watching the performers of the Thiossane West African Dance Institute.

During the experience, she says, she had never felt more excited about painting. Feel the passion of all the artists involved.
