It was 30 years ago when the movie "Flashdance" broke on the scene with its story of Alex Ownes, a Pittsburgh steel mill welder by day and a bar dancer by night with dreams of one day becoming a professional performer.

The stage version features the music that propelled the original soundtrack to massive success. Songs include: "Flashdance - What a Feeling," "Maniac," "Gloria," "Manhunt" and "I Love Rock & Roll."
