Staff Pick: Eric Andre's standup is just as good as his Adult Swim show

I was first introduced to the manic comedy of Eric Andre when reviewing his late night show on Adult Swim. It was the strangest, most bats--- crazy thing I’d seen in a long time, and I absolutely loved it. Andre’s standup is more focused than his late night show, but it still encompasses that same energy. Most importantly, it’s wildly hilarious.

Whether he’s waxing psychotically on making commercials for bacon-crazy hamburger (“Made with LSD and dripping with the blood of none-believers”; “We don’t use pickle chips, we cut off the nipples of WNBA players”) or why we give hurricanes sissy names, Andre is insanely fun on stage. By the end of the show audiences are actually going to feel worn out — from both experiencing Andre’s dynamism and laughing their asses off.
