Building off its popular Rare Baseball and Football programs, the Wexner Center for the Arts will be screening a basketball version to coincide with the beginning of March Madness on March 19.

The spectacular clips include rare footage of greats such as Bill Russell, David Thompson, Jerry “The Logo” West, Ohio State’s Jerry Lucas, Bob Cousy, Bill Walton and Elgin Baylor from a bygone era when, as Wexner Marketing & Media Assistant Jenny Wray so aptly put it, “The shorts — so short! The socks — so tall!”

After the screening, there will be a conversation with former Ohio State standout Bill Hosket. Any sports fan will love the Wexner’s rare films series, and the basketball film will be the best to learn how to finger roll.
