Exhibit preview: "C-Bus" presents realistic paintings of iconic Arch City signage

Jesse Tigges, Columbus Alive

Local artist Amanda Hope Cook has captured the spirit of Columbus with her unbelievably realistic oil paintings of iconic Arch City signage.

From Wonder Bread to the North Market, Drexel Theatre to the Book Loft's neon insignia, each painting is beautifully and convincingly rendered.

With the signage industry in decline, these pieces serve as a virtual tour of Columbus and its history.
