Last Chance: "Wax Nostalgic" features tiny art etched in crayons

California-based artist Hoang Tran works on a small scale — crayon sculptures! — but the outcome is big fun.

Tran takes individual crayons and carves out pop-culture icons from movies, comic books, television series and cartoons.

This exhibit has a cartoon-focus and showcases the likes of “Adventure Time”— some of Tran’s most detailed and exceptional work — “Futurama,” “The Simpsons” and “Bob’s Burgers.”

C’mon you know you want to see, and surely own, some tiny crayon sculptures of the Belcher kids.
