Last Chance: Graphic novelist Lilli Carre's exhibit at CMA almost over

Staff Writer
Columbus Alive

Lilli Carre is a renowned graphic artist and writer (“Heads and Tails” won a handful of awards) who also works in a variety of media, including animation (her work has screened at the Sundance Film Festival), illustration, sculpture and comics.

She was 2014’s recipient of the CMA and Thurber House residency program and is currently exhibiting a wealth of her work.

Her comics are poignant and funny, while her paintings, illustrations and sculpture are of an abstract and pleasingly disorienting nature.
