Kicking off this outdoor readings and discussions series with authors is Thomas Scott McKenzie, who co-wrote the autobiography of Bozo the Clown aka Larry Harmon, “The Man Behind the Nose: Assassins, Astronauts, Cannibals, and Other Stupendous Tales.”

McKenzie will talk about Toledo-born and Cleveland-raised Harmon’s legendary life and career, including anecdotes about his run for president, meeting John F. Kennedy and training for a space flight — all in Bozo character.
