The Columbus Museum of Art is showing works from the John and Susan Horseman Collection that focus on the American Modernists of the early 20th century.

From the 1920s through the Depression to the beginning of World War II, “Modern Dialect” includes more than 60 artists — including Charles Burchfield, George Ault, Charles Sheeler, Marsden Hartley and George Bellows — representing the broad scope of both the artists working in the style and America’s cultural landscape.
