Whether you prefer the original Roger Corman film or the ’80s version with Rick Moranis — and Steve Martin’s indelible turn as the sadistic dentist — no one can argue the brilliance of “Little Shop of Horrors” as a story, no matter the incarnation.

When Imagine Productions, the company that produced the boisterous “La Cage Aux Folles” in February at Wall Street Nightclub, presents an adaptation of the carnivorous plant Audrey II and her unwitting warden Seymour, it will surely be a riotous show.
