Vivid landscape painter Bryan Roberts, co-owner of Brandt-Roberts Galleries, is holding a solo exhibit for the month of January, presenting a number of new pieces. Roberts — who cites the Cape Ann School plus current artists such as Kevin MacPherson as influences — often depicts rural Ohio in autumn and winter, creating serene scenes of nature. Roberts’ landscapes offer a quiet beauty, especially the winter vistas, that invite the viewer into moments of contemplation.
