Three local artists will present a collection of ceramic works, highlighting the diversity the medium offers.

Clayspace artist and instructor Todd Hickerson will join fellow ceramicists Lena Simonian and Eric Immelt to explore the iconic artistry of Oceanic culture by merging the primitive origins of the culture with modern techniques.

The artists will present individual and collaborative pieces using materials both apposite and experimental.

The pieces will be complemented by a lighting installation that captures the spirit of Papua New Guinea and its graphical representations of life, ancestry and traditions.
